Abstract
This glacial modeling approach uses surface mass balance information from a network of stakes and ground penetrating radar geophysical data. From two different geometrical characterizations of the glacier bed, two dynamic models for the evolution of the glacier thickness are generated. The annual mean mass balance calculated on the glacier surface controls the dynamics of these models. A series of previous stages before the eventual disappearance of the North Glacier until the middle of the 21st century are shown as results.
